Thrift Shop Fundraiser at HW Harkness Elementary School: May 9th-16th

The Thrift Shop Fundraiser will also

support the fun at Family Game Nights.
The Harkness PTO is holding a Drive-Thru Re-Use It Fundraiser May 9 - 16, 2014. PTO President Brandi Maurizio says, "the goal is to get 10,001 pounds of reusable items donated."  The donation area is at 54th Avenue and Hogan Drive or you can take items directly to the Thrift Store at 5005 Stockton Blvd.  Just let the store staff know that the items are for Harkness.

Because of budget cuts, the PTO raises funds to pay for music, art, and dance instruction and the annual Sly Park camping trip.

Acceptable items include: clothing, shoes, kitchenware, small furniture, jewelry, bikes; not acceptable: wet/rusted items, cans, bottles, scrap metal, construction waste, TV's over 32 inches, mattresses/box springs, or large furniture.  Call 433-5042 for details.
